Art Dump

Concept for some sort of soldier. It was meant to be a design for Freikorps, a group of mercenaries and guns for hire in the Shadowrun universe

Sketch of an Imperial Guard medic/Priest. It was one of my first experiments with greyscale sketching, Never got around to finish it.

Striking Scorpion finished work, I'm quite happy with how it turned out, even if I had to change resolution in the middle, making me work a little more than I would've liked. I found that colouring over lineart and then re-applying lines was fun and also pretty to look at.

A concept for a more modernized version of the Adepta Sororitas armor. Not very 40k-ish, the chestpiece is the biggest problem, it doesn't look like power armour.

Final design of a Shadowrun character I played for a short while. Colouring is still a little iffy, but I guess I'm getting there.

Eldar outcast sketch.

The Adeptus Mechanicus knows how to love, it's all about the machines.
This is a final piece I did for some reason that I will not disclose here.

I gotta find a name for these kinds of dump

One of my player's Biorkan Character. I had no idea what that race looked like before I did this.

Same player's Shadowrun character, which is in fact my mom in the game.

Dog-bot ftw

Some fanart of Ireela from DLFG's great smut stories.

Redesigned a female Vindicare because it was funny to me

Catar: Tall(6’0) and slender; The Catar are largely avian in appearance, from their bird-shaped heads, to their chitinous feathers and razor sharp claws. They dwell largely in the far northern forests and graveyards. They are remarkably fast and often terrifying to engage due to their high-pitched tongue and ruthless efficiency. The Catar body is an mixture of chitin and soft flesh, giving them a lithe appearance. A Catar’s head is long and elongated, featuring a crooked beak with two mandibles to the side, their four small eyes are protected by a mobile layer of chitin that acts as eyelids. Catars are incredibly flexible and their limbs are all double-jointed.

The Catars are a race for that homebrew I made up; SHIPBREAKERS, mostly based on Hardware Shipbreakers but for tabletop and with shit I made up instead. It's pretty meh, but it's fun to have my players run around in circles in wrecks.

More Spesh Mareens

More spesshmarines. I like doing these. Still a WIP, I'll update when I'll have them all done
Top Left: Karkan Guard "Ghoul", these Space Marines are part of the 10th Company stationed on the homeworld of Castigos, they rarely leave the planet, usually to carry out assassinations divined by the High Bonelord himself. They train the recruits and neophytes and accompany the Seeker whenever he sets himself on a quest.
Top Right: The Armor of Muhsin. One of the most revered and holiest artifact of the Karkan Guard is the  Terminator armor that once belonged to High Bonelord Muhsin during the Karkan Guard's penance crusade. The armor is impregnated with the spirits of the ninety nine Astartes that died during the crusade. These spirits grant visions to the High Bonelord, giving him the ability to guide his chapter and divine the actions of the Karkan Guard. The Armor of Muhsin is one of the only two terminator armor available to the Chapter.
Bottom Left: Karkan Guard Scorpion, Veterans of the Chapter, these Astartes have seen the fire and death of war and are known to be utterly fearless and reckless, often throwing themselves at the thickest fighting.
Bottom Right: Sheik Juziz, the Biting Blade. This captain has taugh his Astartes Battle Brothers for decades.  He his known as the best swordsman and most skilled tracker in the entire Chapter, having slain countless foes. Brother Juhziz has also gained a reputation amongst the Eldar as a formidable foe for killing dozens of skilled eldar warriors withouth treachery or outside help. The Astartes carries the soulstones of these warriors with him into battle, as a way to honor their spirits.

Yeah I have that much time to waste

Warhammer 40k: Detail Edition

So I'm having a bit of fun sketching up some of Warhammer 40k's characters. I found that some of the designs are very old and very cool, but for some reason, GW feels like updating them. I've also seen butt-tons of artist do their own version so I kinda wanted to try out mine.

Heavy on ornaments, the first one is a Space Marine, same Chapter as the ones I posted before, some homemade shit that tickles my inner autism.

The title of Seeker has been passed around from Brother to Brother for millenias. Chosen not by skill, experience or rank, the Seeker is set on one goal, and until his goal is complete, he cannot allow himself to die, he is rankless, nameless and fearless. The Seeker is chosen by way of a vision. Every time a Seeker dies, his body is salvaged at all costs, brought back to the Oculi Mortui for safekeeping. There, Battle-Brothers must meditate and pray, until one of them, or any of them receives a vision of a quest. Only then, can the Brother don the armor of the Seeker, shed away his name and past, and become the living embodiment of the Emperor's vengeance. None know his quest, but all would lay their lives so that the Seeker could complete his vision. The Seeker is one of the only Astartes of the Karkan Guard able to call upon the full might of the Chapter. The legend of the Seeker is know to many of the Chapter's allies, and it's armor is a testament to the legacy of the Seekers of ages past, many of it's pieces were received as gifts and tokens of gratitude to the Karkan Guard.

The second one is a Sister Superior [Canonness if that tickles your fancy] of the order of the Argent Shroud.
Felt like the original model didn't have enough ornaments so I overkilled it.

Varryan Lifeform

Now I had a lot of fun with that one.
Found a cool design and stuck with it.
Took way less time than my other work, probably 2.5hours

More work

Something a little more "exposed". Mostly done to see how I could manage full front anatomy in a way that seemed fluid and stylised.
But the real reason here is the robot-parts. I really wanted to see how I could mesh together flesh and metal and make it look cool.

Some more colored thingies

A bunch of sketches I did over the weekend and during the week. I have a lot more, but they're mostly messy lines and uncleaned colors.
So there's that ?

The Inquisition is here

So I got caught into a week-long rush to get my Portfolio done for application.
Picked up this old sketch and completed it in ~ a day.
I say approximately because my PC died on me twice, losing 3hours worth of work. So w/o these interruptions and my dicking around, let's say 5hours.

I'm slowly learning how to better blend shadows and use color. It's a whole new world

There's an idea and a backstory behind the character so there:

Inquisitor Hermann Seterack of the Ordo Xenos, Calixis Conclave. Officially starting his carrer in the Inquisition as a member of the Ordo Sicarius in the Culexus Temple, Hermann Seterack was an incredibly powerful and skilled Culexus Agent for many years, ascending throught the ranks of the Temple at an alarming pace. Seterack served the Holy Ordos of the Inquisition for decades as an psy-assassin and acolyte for several Inquisitor Lords. Having received his full dispensation as an Inquisitor, Herman Seterack has been monitoring and investigating Necron activities across the galaxy. Considered by his peers as an expert on the matter of the soulless Necrons, Seterack's expertise borders on obsession, as he hunts and scavenges Tomb Worlds for means to study and defeat the dreaded xenos.

A calm and well-mannered man. Hermann Seterack cares little for politics or station, often operating in the most simple and discreet of manners. Often eschewing the more "flamboyant" of armaments and uniforms, he remains an incredibly dangerous foe, having perfected his training to match the violence and ruthlessness of both the Vindicare and Eversor Temples.
